Rear Sensors- Sold Order
I do like the rear sensors however I was told by the dealer today our car, which is being produced this week, will not have the rear sensors. Our car is a SOLD order and will be made as contracted before the rear sensors were standard. We ordered the camaro 7/31. I was also told it will come with the rally stripes installed at the factory. We also were told no warranty void if exhaust is installed after the converter.

That 30 you see means that 30% light doesnt come throught, making it 70% tint.
Trust me they dont come with any tint. Wish they did. My dads 08 silverdao says 30 on the front 50 on the back, and the back are a lot darker. |

I don't think the dealer has any say as to wether your car will have the backup sensors or not. If your SOLD order was picked up (status 2000) Sep 1st or later then the sensors should be a forced add and the dealer ha no say in it.:( This will also be a price increase of about $395 for the new freight costs and added sensors from your original entry. I don't know what you are trying to say about the tint.:( Hope this helps!

Order was accepted before Sept 1st. And yes I think it's 70% factory tint. I can only get 50% in Ohio - so very slight. Back windows have no limit here. Probably do 35%. Thanks for your comments.

70% tint would be lighter then 50%. Unless the dealer is installing tint all you get is a UV type coating. It does cut down on light transmission a bit.

my order is still at 1100, but when the back up sensors came out I received an update to my order to show them added plus the new cost.
