flex fuel 93 and E85
I been hearing about guys who been putting a flex fuel system on there ZL1 so then can run E85 for extra HP and 93 when E85 is not available.
Can anyone tell me about this pro and cons ? and how it works ? |

Also, check out the CTS-V Forums. Remember, they had a pretty good head start on us modding the LSA.
I am getting the FF conversion done in a few weeks, when done I will post up a dyno comparison of my set up on 93 and e85. |

No cons other than cost to convert to flex fuel.
You can run 93 octane 95% of the time if that is more convenient. It doesn't matter if you still have 7 gallons of one or the other in the tank. You make more power with e85, it's much safer for detonation and is cheap. You will need some stuff but likely need some of this even if you stay 93. -Fuel system upgrade, at least a pump booster -Bigger injectors -Flex fuel sensor -Retune
