VTC believer!

Hey all. I've installed a CAI, magnaflow xpipe, and 3.91 lsd. It was quick but now its extremely fun to drive my Camaro. With the VTC I can really feel that quick acceleration, it really puts me back in my seat. My friend hadn't ridden with me since I had the 3.91's and VTC and he couldn't believe it was the same car. It also makes the growl way more intense, the exhaust is more definitely more throaty sounding. All I need is the overkill 80mm tb from Will and ported intake from Jason and I'm sure it will be even more of a beast.

SWEET!
Now, add a scoop and washer bottle relocation kit and let that CAI REALLY breathe!
(Oh yeah, catch can too)

Yeah I need a catch can. A basic one that will do the job. And does the scoop make that much difference? You making me want one

When I added the scoop I could hear the intake again as it was no longer drowned out by my exhaust.
My butt dyno told me there was a difference.
I also gained about 1+mpg on the road trip I took a week later.
First trip (no scoop) was average speed of 73.2 and mileage was 27.1
Second trip (with scoop) was average speed was 76.3 and my mileage was 28.4
(both are within a tenth of what I saw, can't remember the exact numbers)

No one thinks the VTC creates more power....

However, telling the throttle body blade to open at a quicker rate is definitely going to create a different driving experience. More HP? No. Better use of what's already there? Yes.

I would kill for mileage like that out of mine but its all city driving for me and i get about 19mpg ... seems to have dropped a full 1 mpg when i added the k&n typhoon but my foot has been heavier since then too cause i like the new exhaust note lol

That's weird. I get 24 with a heavy heavy foot.

I saw an increase with the CAI and even more of an increase with the scoop added as well. I also commute daily and put my VTC in Economy mode while in traffic. Swapping back over to SP7 once I get past the city is always a great feeling
