Stripes, Onstar, Shark Fins

Just had my stripes painted on and modified from factory to more of a 1969 stock look with slight modification to a ram air style up front, very subtle. Also had gills on side of car PAINTED, not decaled. Shark fin (Onstar) also painted body color. Car came out pretty awesome, very happy with. Just subtle enough to know something is different, but what? type of thing. Let me know what you guys think.

Painted Rally Stripes

You asked, so here it goes:

Your's is the first front hood stripe that goes over the mail slot that I like. The stripe and slot don't conflict, but rather they seem to compliment each other. Nice...different too.

On the rear spoiler area, I prefer the original 60s look. The stripe should go over the spoiler and stop on the spoiler backside an inch or 3/4" before the deck lid. The factory vinyls don't go over at all and yours go over too far.

Shark fin: very cool.

As for the side "gills", I can't tell from your photo...need a clear sharp close up.

My car is due next week and the first thing I will do is take it to the painter for rally stripes. My car is Victory Red and I want metallic silver or metallic gray stripes. My seats have the gray inserts. I selected a (shhh!) Ford Mustang color called "Vapor Silver". A beautiful very metallic medium silver.
