Aux jack for i-pod

Would the 1LT come with an auxillary jack to plug an i-pod into?

Pretty sure it would, just making sure i don't need the connectivity package.

Well, according to Chevy's web site ...

http://www.chevrolet.com/vehicles/20...ro/features.do

The "Trim Specific Features" show the 2LT and 2SS as both having "USB Ports".

However, under "Interior" it shows "Auxiliary-Audio Input Jacks" as being standard on all Trims.

The iPod uses USB, but I am not sure if that is for audio input? On the other hand is the Aux-Audio iPod compatible?

Not sure I helped ... T.

I'm pretty sure an aux jack is standard on all models. You just need to get a 12 dollar cord from radioshack that plugs into the jack in the car and the plug for your headphones on your ipod

I would much rather have the USB port than the Aux jack.

Yep, plugged in my ipod touch before i drove off the lot. Works fine, I'm sure it's not as cool as a usb, but it's still nicer than dealing with fm transmitters. One thing I did notice..even after turning my ipod volume up the stereo volume when using the aux jack was a little low. I had to turn the stereo volume up pretty high.

I believe it should be near the USB, maybe underneath or above it. It would be a tiny circular opening.

The Aux jack is in the center console under the 12v power inlet, not sure where this is in comparison to the usb though

IF you have the USB, its directly below it. and just so ya know, YES you can use the aux jack with any mp3 player, ipod, zune, or whatever, you turn up its volume all the way, then use your radios volume control. BUT all of the other functions are changed on the device, or player of choice itself.
