Are you sure those are painted on? They sure look like the factory vinyls.

Well they do look like factory vinyl, they look good with that colour. Honestly though, if you are getting stripes painted on you can have any style and colour you want. I would go with something totally different than the factory stock look. For the price of a quality custom paint job you could have factory stripes done 4 times. If there is no real difference in the look I would stay with vinyl. Just my $0.02.

Painted on Stripes

I think they look great but as HeavyD said, if you're going to paint, might as well set yourself apart from the stock guys and give it a custom look. + PAINT THAT GOLD bowtie With the help of some others on the forum this is wat we cam up with. In the paint shop now and I'll post pics next week....

I like that man, might steal it if you don't mind , I'll be putting it (black) on RJT though. I like how it fades into the mail slot.

That SIM color scheme ROCKS! Love the black stripes with the black ground effects!

Flat black paint will prove to be a pain in the long run. My whole hood is flat black (stock in 69) and when something happens to it like chips, bird crap, tar from road construction, you just can't do anything to fix it.

Are you going to have the stripes go black all the way into the mail slot? These look great.
