LSA supercharged LS3, now with water injection

Hey all new to this forum, but not new to modifying vehicles in general.

What started all this was browsing Craigslist and ran across a CTS-V supercharger for $500. The victim is a 2011 Camaro 2SS with a full exhaust.

So to be installing this supercharger using ADM Performance's stage 1 kit this weekend.

Welcome to the C5 forced induction crew. Good luck with your build. Those LSA conversions by ADM are awesome kits and produce a ton of power for the cost. Probably the best value power adder available for the Camaro.

Keep us updated on your progress.

Love the work bench! Good luck with the install. Plenty of support on the forum. Don't hesitate to ask questions. This was my most favorite install project and I'd do it again in a heart beat.

Yeah the work bench is a bunch of my wife's paperback books.

I do have a HP tuner, I used to tune Megasquirt standalones and done about 10 of them over the past 8 years. So not much of a learning curve to me just getting used to the software.

This is my first V8 and with a supercharger, I used to have a MK3 Toyota Supra and various other projects. So this time I decided to get a car that is much easier and cheaper to modify and plus I wanted to do something I haven't done before. I'm mainly used to turbochargers or smaller displacement engines.

Speaking from experience, Megasquirt, and HPTuners are like night and day different. I really liked Megasquirt, and found it to be very user friendly and easy to use. My experience with HPT is not quite that similar. It was way more detailed, and I lack the experience and general skill to make the software sing and dance like the pros. But I am learning. Its by far some of the best tuning software I have ever used.

Like test_eng said, there is plenty of support on this forum. Don't hesitate to ask for anything.

Welcome to C5, and the FI club! Looking forward to following your build. What kind of power are you looking to put down? What other mods do you have planned?

Thanks with the input so far. Mods as of right are are exhaust, intake and 3.91 1LE gears.
Plans for the next week are the supercharger, hurst shifter, and LC-2 wideband. I eventually want to do water injection.

Other mods are ZL1 replica wheels in black chrome, lowering springs/new shocks, all new bushings, 1LE sway bars.

Thanks granatl, I will probably have some questions. My plan is to drop the timing by 6 degrees, and add some fuel in the PE for now to get it going. Then I will upgrade the OS to SD tune the VE table then do MAF.

Well I got my ADM kit in today! Really like the extension wires that came with it was expecting to have some cut and solder. Only two complaints I have is I wish I knew the new heater hoses came with the kit because I already spent $150 on new hoses knowing that they would have to be relocated, and that the kit came with a bill of materials to make sure everything is there.

Just making sure I have all the parts together. Had to go source some spark plugs today, but should be starting the install on Sunday. Saturday I will be install a hurst shifter and wiring up my LC-2 wideband and doing some base logs and making sure everything is working.
