Yea there is a water tray/deflector on the bottom side that can be removed to paint, I have heard of people leaving them out to track, etc or if the car doesn't see rain but then obviously water will pour directly to the top of the engine instead of being rerouted

It can be removed very easily. It is very noticeable from all angles unless your looking at the car from the very front.

Very nice, looks real sharp. What color (is that orange or red) and what type of paint did they use on the plastic drip tray?
Did it need adhesion promoter on the plastic first? The factory paint is Red Hot on mine so maybe go with that color inside to match. Ron
