Just picked up my car on Friday and I was told that it would have the rear park assist and also that the GM badges would be removed based on my build date. Needless to say the GM badge was there and no RPA. I have no problem not haveing the RPA because I dont think it does anything for the look of the bumper. I am just curious when it is supposed to start.

You lucked out. I saw a few white RS/SS cars with the morse code going on at the back bumper.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe if your car was ORDERED AND ACCEPETED before 8/31st, you wouldn't have them, as all cars that were ordered after that date were to have them. There is a thread around here that has the streight skinny on the exact dates and all that.

consider your self lucky. Now remove the GM bagdes yourself (keep them) and smile as you drive down the road knowing the car is not junked up by unnecessary technology and badges!

fishing line or several strands of dental floss and if you have any, goo gone works wonders, good luck!

Its simple, I just yanked mine off then used goo gone. No marks at all. It really hurts your finger nail though! Thank God there is only 2! I should have used the fishing line or floss!
