I have always associated a floaty RPM with a lean fuel condition. I take it there is no code in the computer?

This is why not to buy the first production year of a new model. Too many bugs need to be fixed.

The dealership said no problem found. That is why he is making a video, for evidence. Socks and flops

The car should not be idling at 2000 rpm and should shortly after starting rev down slightly from its cold start rpm. The " floaty" pedal is most likely due to whatever problem with the drive by wire/ whatever sensor is making it stay high idle..... Take it to another dealer if they think that is normal. Find out what your normal Idle is supposed to be.......... Drive by wire uses a potentiometer, and it is in taking signals from the throttle positon etc... and yes you do have a legitimate problem, sometimes there is a BOT on or actual person on here form Chevrolet customer service who would be interested in talking with you< I also suggest trying a gen 6 site. Good Luck

I feel like everyone thinks this is my car.... No. Haha I was on YouTube and just ran upon this and was wondering if anyone else had problems with the 6th gen as my older brother is thinking about purchasing one.

Bad factory tune? Failing MAF sensor? Vacuum leak? Error 404 - Not Found or Blue Screen of Death? Reboot! If not, upgrade the firmware... if not, replace the ECU...

Seems 'tune' related.
