On a 2016 Camaro ss is the volume suppose to lower when you come to a stop

yea I believe it does, my 2010 does the same thing you can adjust it in your radio settings

No, it goes up at highway speeds. If you have it loud, it doesn't get lower as you stop.

yep its in the radio settings. you can turned it off or make it louder or quieter.
