1 ss exhaust

how does the stock exhaust sound on a ss? and do you all like it.

It sounds really good stock, but a lot of people prefer the aftermarket because aftermarket options are louder.

Agreed. It is much better than stock exhaust on Camaros in the past - a little bit of noise and crackles when down shifting, which I love. Do wish it was louder though, so I will change it in the Spring - not sure yet what I will change it to . . . .

Mine is a 2SS, sorry, didn't realize you were asking about the 1SS. Not sure about that one . . .

The 1SS and 2SS are exactly the same in this and most other ways. There is no performance difference, no sound difference, and no exterior appearance difference.

The LS3 exhaust and L99 exhaust are different in two ways. The LS3 has free flowing mufflers and smaller resonators. The LS9 has a huge resonator can and a more restrictive muffler. The LLT cars are a mix of the two, lol. We have the more restrictive cans with the smaller resonators. The v6 cat back looks like the LS3, whereas the L99 looks way different in the resonator area.
