Seven years ago today

I picked up my Summit White 2SS exactly 7 years ago today. After 44,000 miles
I have nothing but great memories with this terrific car.
On 6/6/09 was finally able to order the delayed Summit White color
On 8/4/09 it left the assembly line.
On 8/21/09 I drove it home from the dealer.
Since then, from the First photos of a members Summit White 5th gen here on
camaro5, to the first calendar photo shoot in Baltimore Md, 3 great camaro5
caravans including the Canada assembly plant and the many, many car shows,
It's been a great ride with a trouble free 5th Generation Camaro.

Ready for it's first ride:

These were taken a week ago. Not one scratch, dent, scrape, etc. Only one
paint chip on the left front hood edge which is 5 years old. From what members
here on camaro5 say, I find that amazing. Other than some warranty work I
only had to pay about $4.00 for a burnt out right rear tail lamp bulb. Truly a
great car imo.

It is considering it's not a garage queen. Like I said, having taken trips up and down the East coast several times,
out to Indy and up into Canada I've been pretty lucky. Just can't let it sit even in the winter on nice days.
Every time I take it out I feel 20 years younger. lol.

Very nice car, still looking great. I got my 2010 on August 3, 2009 and talk about a garage queen I only have 8734 miles. Your vin # must be pretty close to mine 27526. My problem is I also own a 1955 Chevy 2 door Hardtop and my DD..What a guy to do??.

Looks liked she just rolled off the assembly line yesterday (besides the cool mods of course)!

Your right but for many here that's high mileage. If it's snowing, raining, etc and I don't need to take it out, I don't.
Only because I can't stand driving it dirty. If I take it out in the rain I've got to spend hours cleaning it again.
I realize for many that's not an option. I do consider my Camaro somewhat of a toy but I don't think I'm nuts about it.

Nice DD. As clean as that dude is, I think you should have the chip professionally fixed. No offense but just sayin...

It really jumps out at you in that photo. It's actually very small and no one ever
pointed it out to me. Again very very small and I only notice it when I wax the car.
I only showed this chip as I'm always amazed that this car has near perfect factory
paint. No front facia, no wheel well, no 1/4 panel gills, or other chips anywhere.
Very rare for a 5th gen Camaro that's spent a lot of time on the interstates.

On a trip a few years ago from Miami on I-95, it rained so hard most everyone
including me, pulled off the road as you couldn't see past the windshield. i got
caught in a couple snowstorms also but not many. Now I'm almost sorry that I
showed everyone that chip. lol.
