Shifting Question
Hey giys I was wondering if yall are having this issue. Sometimes when I am driving and i got to shift from 1st to 2nd the screen on my car tells me i need to shift form 1st to 4th. Now granted this would make since if I was at like 3500 to 4000 rpms, but it does this at around 2000 rpms. Now to me this mkaes no since as there is not enough rpms for the car to properly function in 4th. Has anyone else experianced this?

its called skip shift...the eliminator costs abt 30 bucks.

CAGS - Computer Assisted Gear Shift - Built into the Manual Transmission cars for EPA Fuel Economy Ratings. Several suppliers have a CAGS Skip Shift Eliminator Available which is fairly easy to install.

figured that was it but was just making sure since it was at such a low rpm

If you don't want to deal with it just rev it high before you shift but usually I'll just shift to 4th anyways.

I very rarely see it come on anymore and on the rare times it does come on, I just rev and scare it away. Always works!
