Problems with my gear box not engaging gears
I have a 2015 Camaro 1LE (manual) with just under 10k miles, a month after i purchased it i started experiencing troubles with my shifter to where it was becoming harder and harder to engage 1st. I took it to dealer to see if this was something normal they gave it a look through and advised all was fine. Fast forward to this past week i was getting ready to leave to work when i quickly noticed after a few tries i couldn't get it into 1st or any gear for that matter. Called a tow company who them self's tried to get into gear and also failed. When we get to dealer to my luck the damn thing starts to work again and slides right into gear they keep it over night to try and recreate the cold start situation and still nothing. After checking all possible possibilities my service advisory said there is literally nothing wrong with your car. Im just extremely confused as to what may be going on and if anyone else has been experiencing similar issues??? Thanks for any feed back in advance.

Just curious, have you done any road course stuff? check your brake/clutch fluid, is it black?

just had i returned from dealer and they did a thorough check of all components and fluids. According to the technician the clutch and gear box check out fine so not sure what the heck happened I suspect something having to do with skip shift system went wrong. My friend with 2013 camaro had similar thing happen after ignoring the skip shift indicator and forcing it into 2nd though i do not do this.

I had a 2000 Mustang with a bad flywheel that eventually grenaded that Ford wanted me to pay for, but I had 2 years of "hey this car won't engage, hard to shift when it does" complaints and when I escalated it that made the difference. If it is a PITA keep taking it in until it is right. Records matter if it finally fails.
