I have started a blog group on Facebook to get folks to start trying to BUY AMERICAN. I am hoping to build up list and get site URL's of place that sell MADE IN AMERICA products.

I don't even know how to do face book. I'd have to get in there, sign up, take a sip of my coffee, type some more, take another sip, think about stuff, read stuff, sip some more, type some more. C5 takes all of that out of me. You mean share time?

Okay, I know I'm about to get blasted for this...

I'm all for buying American made products, so I'm a little conflicted about my Chevy being made in Canada. No offense to the Canadians, they did a great job and I don't begrudge them the revenue. But how can I consciously say I'm a "Buy American" advocate when my American car was made in Canada? (yes, I know Canada is North America, y'all know what I mean)

I did mention that on the Facebook BUY AMERICAN page. It is a tough call on a car. But I see it as GM is the parent and there is where the taxes and such are paid. Plus a car is made of alot of parts from all over the world.

My goal is to start getting Americans to think about the clothes, dishes, toys and so on that they buy. If we can buy AMERICAN for something we want then lets do it. If my little movement saves 1 AMERICAN's job, 1 AMERICAN's house or 1 AMERICAN's small business then I can be dang proud to be an AMERICAN!!!

5thGenChick: yeah, it's Buy American, like you said.

Not Buy USA so I'm OK with it. Besides, Canada is just the USA-North.
