Aggravating oil leak
2011 Chevy camaro ss auto 70k miles
So been noticing a small but on going oil leak around pan. Figured it was the typical oil cooler seals and gaskets. Replaced them and 2 days later oil leak returns. The gasket around the whole oil pan is perfectly dry and not leaking. I noticed more then usual oil around the plastic oil level temp sensor. Could it be leaking from here. I have attached a picture of it for everyone. The oil is all coming from that side. Not coming from the back or anywhere else. Any thoughts before dumping more money? |

I'm sure any Chevy dealer could pinpoint the leak for you. My '10 SS had the oil pan
gasket replaced under warranty but it sounds like you have eliminated that possibility. Good luck getting it repaired.

Get sum Gunk or similar engine spray cleaner and get the entire area cleaned up(COLD ENGINE)....now hopefully the leak will be easier to pinpoint...ever have any top end work done?...good luck
