Has anyone heard of a custom cover for these car`s. Outdoor rating needed.
I`m also interested in knowing if putting vegtable cooking oil on the rotor`s would prevent the surface rust over the winter. Rust seems to accumulate rapidly under warm weather conditions here in ontario. There is a 95 ss s10 sitting in my yard and in a year of outside storage there is no rust on it`s rotors! Go figure. |

ABSOLUTELY NO OIL ON ROTORS!
Not only are you contaminating the rotors, you are contaminating the pads which will result in poor to no braking. Wash car, dry off the rotors with a spirited drive. If you are that concerned about the rotors, remove them, spray them down with Brakekleen and store them flat in the house with cardboard between layers. Flash rust is no big deal. It will remove itself the first good drive in spring.

It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas. What do you say, is it the new Bluesmobile or what?
