Clutch performance???
I am now putting in a clutch to hold over 850hp and want input from people have made the upgrade. I am leaning towards fidanza or the zr1 setup. If you have upgraded your clutch please leave feedback to pros and cons you have experienced compared to stock.

I have not changed mine yet, but I am evaluating everything right now like you are.
The Centerforce and the Fidanza are the ones I am considering. The one thing that centerforce has is that they say the pedal feel is the same or lighter than stock. I believe Fidanze feels like stock. Both will hold great power. The centerforce is rated very high just like the upper level Fidanza. I carry both of the them for my customers and honestly I do nto think you could go wrong with either one. |

I have a fidanza in my beast. 628 rwhp and 669 rwtq. The twin with alum flywheel with organic. I must say great clutch. Can hold all the power I through at it. Only down fall is a little noisy at idle and a little chatter until warmed up. Best price out there is
MAperformance on these clutchs. worth the bucks that is invested.

Are you running the Fidanza 7.6 that is listed on their site? I just need to make sure it will handle 850-900hp with good driveability.

The Zr1 clutch is a bad idea for the cost, it really is a heavy unit, gets hot and slips, im just not a huge fan.
I would look into either RPS Carbon Carbon billet, or their triple disc. or Spec twin disc PT trim For that much power, we use these clutches in our 750 wheel up vettes, and have a RPS unit in our 800 wheel camaro and it grabs very well. |

Fidanza 7.6 is right up your alley bud as lawdogg149 mentioned. Drove the 7.6 in some other vehicles and loved it.

How much clutch chatter to you get out of either of those clutches?? I have read a bunch of different forums and it seems there is noticable clutch chatter. A few of the LPE members have the ZR1 clutch and they say it feels like a stock clutch with no noise. If there is a good clutch with no chatter other than the ZR1, I would be interested to know. Maybe Centerforce or Fidanza??
