I got 22 more horsepower from the BPP's new intake System

I got 22 more horsepower from the BPP's new Vortex Ram Air intake System then I went have it Tuned and picked up 6 for a total of 28HP at the rear wheels. I found it on there Website for $349.00, however when I called there it was sold to me for $319.00 a special they are runing this month.http://breathlessperformance.com/pro...tionSystem.asp

to me that looks like everybody elses cold air intake .i thought ram air was coming dirrectly from over the top of the radiator .i could be wrong but why does 9 out of ten cai systems call it cai and not ram air like new era and vararam

somebody prove me wrong please because it does look pretty nice with good numbers .but i say thats a cai and not ram air

+1 - here's the New Era from Alex33 on a 'stang site though installed on a 2010 Camaro SS - didn't provide the link though just google "new era ram air" and it will be the first choice (didn't think we liked posting links to 'stang sites).

So no disrespect to ccd1698 his is a CAI.

These are good questions. I called the Company and was told since they did the install as well. the flow comes through the grill from the factory inlet which they cut out for more air flow they are using a cone filter with merge tip and Velocity stack, plus it is made from Aluminum not plastic

can you take some pictures of where they made that inlet hole for us . i would be interested .but like you said they did the work so i need to know how to do it myself .also if was the factory inlet why did they cut it out if it was allready there from factory .not understanding thanks if you can get some photos or maybe tell the guys you bought it from to post on here with there info

Regardless of any inlet they might have cut, that isnt a ram air. It might qualify as cool air intake, but even then, it is in the engine compartment so it will get mostly hot air.

How do you figure when the inlet is in front of the Condensor

Got a copy of the dyno sheets handy? Cause those numbers seem EXTREMELY high for a CAI.

No offense, I am just naturally skeptical
