Firewolff's exhaust

First I'd like to thank Scrmng for answering all my questions and not thinking i'm a pain in the butt. Here is my exhaust experiment We cut the factory resonators out and put in cherry bomb glasspacks. Normal driving it is quit. The only time its sounds raspy is at 2500 to 3000 rpm's on take off. Hard acceleration sounds amazing and cruise control set its about as loud as road noise. Got a few pics and vids more to come later. Still need to get take off and drive by from outside the car.

Here is link to vids couldn't get them to upload:

Cool - You better get some gas though. You're almost empty

I like it. I think the setup in general could use some tweaking... Personally, I would favor an axle-back like scrming's, and then replaceing the stock resonators with some ultra-short cherry bombs (I think they make one with a 9 inch body ).

Sounds good though.

Yeah I thought about doing it that way. Especially now that mrt has an actual kit. But I already have done this and going to let it ride for a little while. I mean I spent a total $100.00 on it so far and think it sounds pretty good. I also thought about putting the factory resonators back on. I'm just afraid it will change the sound that I like more than fix the sounds I don't. We'll see. I wen't to a Camaro meet and greet and everyone there thought I had the magnaflow cat back. Couldn't believe it was just cherry bombs.

Hey - its your car, do what YOU want.

I was mostly just thinking aloud anyway. Its a similar setup to the one I'm thinking of doing on my future 1LT (unless I decide to just bypass the camaro and get a '70 skylark to fix up). Good to hear similar setups out there.

That looks good i was thinking of doing that this spring. What size pipe and bend angle do you have from the exhaust tips back to the pipe?

2.25" pipe and 45 degree angles the rest we heated with the torch and bent it into place.
