water from front of muffler

Is it common after driving for a short while, to have water drip from the front side of the muffler? So far, I only see if from one side, but both might do it.

I live in a humid area, so I am thinking it is OK. It is defnitely not anitfrreeze or anything like that....just water. Also, the car was washed in the past 10 miles, so there may have been some make its way into there, but I doubt that really.

Definitely normal to have condensation build up in the exhaust on short drives. If I remember correctly, some mufflers have a small hole to help this water escape. Not sure about the Camaro though.

Definitely just water coming from the front weephole of the muffler....just seems odd from only one side, but it could be the slope of the car during the trip.

The V6 does have a very small hole in each muffler, so I guess the V8 does also.

I have often noticed some water drop from the driver's side muffler on my SS.

It is the by product of burning cleanly , water from whats left after combustion, they put a drain on the "can" so it does not rust from the inside out :-)
