two questions

i was wondering if the camaro will have the dealer badge on it on my dads tahoe it says country cheverolet and the dealer said they don't know i hope they dont put it on my friend had route 23 ford on his mustang and when he took it off it left a stickey film behind and it was hell trying to get it off...anyone have any ideas?

i was also wondering what type of leather is the seats made out off....is it going to fade and get those wrinkles in it

you can ask your dealer to leave the dealer sticker off of the car. A lot of us have.

If they don't leave it off at the dealer, a hair dryer and a little work will take it off in seconds. Some goof-off or goo-gone will remove any sticky residue left behind.

Go to a different dealership. There is no reason the dealer should insist on putting their crap on your car if you don't want it. Don't give such a lousy dealer your business. Members here know of plenty of good dealerships all over. Let us know the name of this crap-tastic dealership. See how they like that kind of advertising.

If the dealer insists on leaving it on for advertising, tell him you want him to pay you $100.00/mo for the advertising.

if he says he has to "advertise" his dealership then tell him you expect a monthly commision of about five thousand dollars. SAY: "hey this is a hot new car so everyone will be looking at it, and if you wanna advertise welllllll that's not cheap, hey noone ever said advertising wwas cheap" i guarantee if you throw out something like that with some crazy amount of cash then he will NOT put it on there.

Watch out, some dealerships have metal emblems. My mom's PT Cruiser has a dealership emblem on it and it's as if it were a true badge and it's impossible to pry off.

or make it a reasonable amount of cash and he may actually do it

but i'm pretty sure he doesn't want it lol. i would rather have my car flawless the way i want it than get paid a hundred dollars a month for something i hate on it, that will, over time, ruin the paint.
