Pick Up 200 HP With Turbonetics’ Gen 5 Camaro Kit

Just saw this article on MSN about adding a Turbo our 5th Gen Camaros.

Good read. I think I'll always be a fan of supercharging these bad boys though

Yea I've looked up these kits before

Really no more expensive than a supercharger, but honestly I'd rather have a Whipple

I put a whipple on my Camaro and the drivability was the same once they figured out the idle. Did not even know it was there until I got on it. I also have a malibu 2.0 factory turbo and love the thing. You have no clue it is a turbo but man it comes on hard.

Thanks for the article! Great pics and the kit looks very complete and fairly straight forward to install. I guess my only complaint in the turbo vs. SC debate is, the SC installed just looks cleaner. For pure power capabilities, managing boost, and efficiency, seems hard to beat a turbo set up. Just wish it didn't make the engine bay look like Frankenstein lived there. Now that Aussie set up, that looks bad ass!

this is very intriguing way to get power and not over stress the drive train as a supercharger would, I may do it when my warranty ends.

why do you say the Turbo will stress it less than a SCer?

I clicked on the link in the article and it was about $6300-ish. Parts only.
