ID 1000 install
Running into an issue installing these 1000's. Looks like the body of the injector is too long, and they are supposed to be plug and play.
Has anyone installed these, and if so, did you need some kind of adaptor to install them? |

I'll answer my own question, looks like they'll fit, I just need some spacers to bolt the fuel rail back down.
In case people are wondering, they'll fit, but a 14mm spacer is required to bolt the fuel rail back down. |

It has been said that they will need spacers.

And I don't think they're truly "plug and play". Any injector other than stock needs a tune.

By plug and play I meant install without any additional modifications. I had to update the tune.

In that respect, the ID 850, 1050x and 1300 are plug and play.

The regular ID 1000's need a 14mm fuel rail spacer. Think you can pick it up at MontMotorsports.com
All the standard 1000's are a long body injector The new ID 1050x's are a short body injector. So you don't need a spacer. Hope that helps!
