A sad day for my Camaro pictures..

Yesterday, someone broke into my house. My daughter called me after she got home from the bus and told me that our glass door was ripped from the wall and that our flat screens, cameras, computer, wii, and and a lot more were missing. Skip past the cops and the investigators... I realised they took my best camera and my memory card. All of my Camaro Pictures were on that memory card. So, I will not be able to put up new pictures until I get a new camera. But they couldve taken the whole house and I wouldnt care, as long as they didn't take my daughter. Im just glad they were gone by the time my daughter got home. Hopefully insurance will cover this mess.... Everyone needs to go and hug their kids and wish that this will never happen to you!!!

That is just awful!! But I thought you were going to say they took your Camaro, or the keys to your Camaro!

Sorry for the invasion. I went through a very similar incident as a teenager and it is a horrible feeling to know strangers were in your house. You really feel so violated! Glad nobody was hurt.

Sorry to hear this. I had an apartment back in grad school that was burglarized twice. They took the camera that my father had given me (his really good Minolta) and it was the last gift he had given me before he died. They took other stuff too, but that was irreplaceable. So, I know from experience that it makes you feel so violated. I am still po'd about it.

I am glad you daughter wasn't hurt and that insurance covers everything.

Glad to hear that no one was about when your daughter got home, as things could have turned out much worse. Material items can almost always be replaced but family is forever. I'm gonna go hug my 12 yr old daughter right now.

Be sure to get a good security systemy installed right away. Often criminals will come back after you have replaced everything with the insurance money and they will hit you again. It happened to a co-worker. He got a scurity system and it scared them off the second time.

I'm sorry to hear that!!!! The worst part about getting something stolen isn't the items its the documents you lose when it gets stolen!!! If somebody ever robs me, I've dreamed about asking them just to let me keep the memory card from my camera. Funny, but true.

Yeah your daughter is ok thats most important, than you still have your house & Camaro. But you need to be alert, as much you can. Be careful who you let in your house, who you tell about what you have in it, look around the neighborhood for anything suspicious before leaving home or when coming home late at night. Install or keep your alarm activated at all times. Sometimes it could be the person that fix things in your house, you just never know. But thieves target homes and apartments in the day time while everybodys at work. So they had to been watching you before they hit. The thing you need to be concerned about is your daughters safety it is some sick people out here. Sorry to hear the bad news. I hope they find the people and execute them.

My house was burglarized last month. They got past the security measures and stole several firearms. What sucks is that it had to be someone very familiar with the house and my work routine.

:( Sorry to hear this.

I've said it time and time again, I can't stand a thief.

So many times in my life I saw someone with something I wanted soooooo badly and I saved my money to get it. I didn't just take theirs. You work hard and do the things you have to do or take the risks you have to take and someone just helps themselves to all your hard work.

Punishment for theft in this country is a joke.

I'm so sorry this happened to you.

German Sheppard maybe?
