What are your opinions on the clear bra? Thanks!

I had my front fascia, first 3rd of the hood, rockers, mirrors and gills wrapped. With as much sand as they put on the streets here IMO it's the first thing to do to these cars

Had xpel on my Vette done, protects from most rock chips and bugs wipe off easy w/detailed spray....good stuff if you want total protection that paint cannot provide. Other products like ceramic coating is a waste of $$ in my opinion.

I'd like to get a clear bra too. A full hood, front bumper, headlights, fenders, rockers and mirror caps, I'm getting quotes of $1800-$2000 around here. That's no chump change. Then, you got to go through the painstaking ordeal of finding a good well-experienced installer.

I don't know about you, but when you start getting close to $2K, you can just buy an old beater for that.

Best money I ever invested in both my 2011 vert and my 2013 ZL1 vert.

I had the front facia, the mirrors and the gill area covered for about $900 on the ZL1.

best money spend. Full front, full hood, full front qtr panels, A pillars, side mirrors and a 6" strip above the windshield.

Had it done on the last three vehicles I've purchased, will most likely do it on the next one as well. Worth every dollar, IMHO.

Had the 3M Scotch Guard Pro Series installed a couple weeks ago. The other day I watched helplessly a rock around 1/2 in dia bounce off a flat bed and hit the front of the car. After parking at work, got out to see the damage and there wasn't any. There was a small blemish on the coating but by lunch time that was gone too. Guessing the sun's heat helped with the self healing aspect.

Although a little pricey I think it's worth the money. Had mine done, all forward facing surfaces, gills and behind front and rear tires. Compare the price to a paint job, it's really much cheaper

I agree about the difference in price and re-painting. Mine cost around 500.00. How ever I was tired of fixing rock chips in the bumper and else where on the front end. Here in NJ and I am sure in other places as well, the roads suck. I had all forward facing areas in the front, except the lower spoiler as he could not get the film to lay right because of all the bends, the mirrors and side rockers done.

Like the others, every front leading surface, roofline, gill area, side mirrors, and all the front lights are done. Best thing I ever did. Highly recommend no matter the cost because it is so worth it!

I regret not doing this, but I wear my road scars proudly. Maybe after I get a new paint job...

I also would prefer women wear clear bras with matching shirts...
