Hey guys, I've had my baby since 6/11. Here she is at the dealership with 13 miles on her.

I recently ordered a blackout kit for the bowties, and am considering striping it. I thought about white stripes, but all my friends and co-workers thought they would draw too much attention away from the car itself, which I agree with mostly.

Then I thought about black stripes. Everyone i've asked has either said they would look cool and subtle, or just to leave the car plain and "classy". What do you guys think, as I am totally undecided

the black stripes are flat black so it may add to the sublety of the car, i have a cgm with black stripes and it adds to the offset of the car, you may enjoy havin an offset to it just to add to the glossy black

I think cyber grey stripes would look pretty bada**. Silver would look nice also, but not so subtle.

IBM is a very classy color and is ruined by stripes. Just my opinion but IBM and RJT look best without stripes to retain the classy look.

I have a black 2ss with the cyber grey metallic srtipe. It's a great look.
I'm thinking about getting the hockeystick stipes.

I've always been a stripe guy mostly because of the early Z/28s. I want to do stripes but I have not been able to go through with that plan. When and if I did stripes they would be Bumble Bee or Concept Camaro design.

Personally I think you should go with White stripes. My Summit White 2SS/RS will have Aqua Blue stripes.

I have noticed that some of the color combos enhance each other and frankly just look awesome. I have a friend that has a Summit White with IOM stripes and another that has Inferno Orange with white stripes! Side by side... they look sooooo awesome.

Anyway... It IS your car bud. You must live with it (such a hard thing to do, having the hottest car on the market)! As long as you don't pimp it... it will look great!

I've seen SIM rally stripes on both black and red cars and love them enough to say they'd look great on your car. I wouldn't do Cyber or black.

Silver or white or leave it alone.

Personally I'm going with no stripes for about the first year ..... After that time I will have them painted on just to change things up ..... Kinda keep that new thing going that way ....

I like the sound of that program, maybe one of the reasons I haven't striped it yet.

I love my RJT with the cyber gray hockey stripes. It gets compliments everywhere I go. I think Cyber gray would look great on yours. Not to bright.
