Second M6 Failure

I posted back in November of the failure of the manual 6 speed Transmission in my wife's 50th Anniversary 2SS. After waiting for 2 months and with the help of someone on this site contacting the Camaro Group at GM a replacement Transmission was finally installed in the car. My wife immediately notice a chatter coming from the new transmission. It took several weeks to duplicate the chatter and for the dealer to hear it. The dealer scheduled the GM Rep to come and look at the car. The chatter has gotten progressively worse and the GM Rep confirmed the problem today. He was not able to give us a solution, but is looking into options. Since we have not had a properly operating vehicle for all put the first few weeks since we took delivery way back in September and since we have been working on a solution for going on five months now; we are asking for a new replacement 50th Anniversary 2SS with the same equipment but with the Automatic Transmission. And before the haters post, my wife drove a 2011 2SS with a manual 6 for 100,000 trouble free miles. Also the transmission has something loose banging around in it which sounds like gravel flipping up off the tires but only under the console.

I had an auto tranny go bad a month into a brand new 2000 formula firebird. The dealer had it replaced with a new one in less than two weeks. It was fine for the next 12 years.

The manual would be fine once it was replaced with a new one.

Is it clutch chatter or something in the trans itself?

I wrote on here a few weeks ago about my 2SS with an M6 regarding the same issue, and some guy mentioned that its coming from the throughout bearing. However, ive taken my vehicle several times to the dealership regarding that and as usual "cannot duplicate" after the service advisor and transmission "specialist" both drove my car and heard the noise.

I get a similar sound from mine and feel that it likely has to do with either the twin disk clutch or the large gears coupled with relatively thin automatic transmission fluid. Either way, mine has withstood the first 21,000 miles of use and sees the road course as often as I can get out there with no issues.
