Mylink problems!

My mylink screen is blacked out. The buttons work but the screen itself doesn't... controls I steering wheel work, Bluetooth etc all work, but not the screen..

I have about 45k miles and feel like I am out of luck...roo

Mine did the same thing. I called OnStar from the car, they flashed it and it has worked ever since. Hope that helps you out OnStar controls the mylink

Mine did it at 5k miles the only thing that would work is the back up sensors I had to go get a whole new mylink at the dealer

Onstar route didn't work. Odd thing, everything "works" except the screen itself, like I can press the black screen to forward and skip Bluetooth songs but it isn't showing pictures. I can use the touch screen option with out the screen actually showing pictures...

I am kind of at my wits end. I have own 2 camaro 2014 and 2015 both had mylink issues...on the 2014 the body shop couldn't fix it and wanted to charge me for a new mylink.... I didn't break this screen, the factory installed a faulty product why do I have to pay for their mistake. Not a happy customer.

Have you talked with a service manager at your dealership to see what they say. If it is defective, they might replace it.

just watched a youtube on this, the guy pulled the battery for 5 mins and it fixed it

Sorry about that. Was hoping it would. If you do not get any where with the service manager I would contact the Chevy customer service rep on here.( http://www.camaro5.com/forums/member.php?u=29125 ) They helped me when I was getting no where at the dealership with a leak on the passenger side. They kept saying it was not leaking even with the pictures and video I showed them. Contacted the rep, they spoke to the service manager. The next day I was getting a new wind shield installed no more leaks and 4 free oil changes to boot.

New technology in 2013, that was the only item excluded from bumper to bumper warranty. Go figure. Best of luck!

I spoke with the service department they wouldn't even confirm if this was covered under the extended warrenty or not. Stating I will have to pay either 100 deductible or 138 diag fee. My stance is this, the car i purchased new a little over a year ago. How is the faulty mylink screen my fault? Financially this should not be my problem when they sold me faulty product. They need to step up on this.

I spoke with the sales manager and he said he will get with the service manager on Monday and call me back. I am hoping for a reasonable resolution or this might be my last Camao.

I agree this should not be on your dime. If they do not agree then I would contact Chevy as I stated earlier.

Do you mean the Owners Manaul or the Limited Warranty and Owner Assistance Information booklet?
