Opinion

How would you guys think a 4ch and a mono amp should be hooked into the factory HU? The way the installer ran it was the 4ch on the front and the mono on the rear. Used the 4ch as a 2ch instead. The 4ch amp has a pass thru on it. Would yall have ran it like they did or ran front and rear to the 4ch and the mono off the pass thru so everything still worked properly in the car? Also would doing it that way cause anything to have less power, sound better or worse etc? Thanks for the opinions.

I ran both of my amps off of the front channel, and left the rear stock for the sonar sensor chimes. No problems. If you were going to replace the stock HU with something better then it would make a difference.

Yeah I wish the sonar chimes still worked. I thought about taking the subs rcas and plugging them into the 4ch and running a set off the pass thru to the sub just to get the sonar to work. Just don't know if that's going to make it sound like crap compared to now or not.
