need help installing SS grill bought from shopchevyparts
My friend bought replacement SS emblems from shopchevyparts.com
It came with the back emblem and the side grill as well. The back one was easy, it had an adhesive back, and we just stuck it on. The grill one was not so easy for us. We're not real handy men, so we felt pretty stupid trying to figure this one out. It came with a mounting bracket and plate that snapped on to each other. But we couldn't find the right way to install it. We tried pushing it in as far as we could in the grill, but we felt like the bracket was about to break and it wasn't very even. Here is the link to the product: http://www.shopchevyparts.com/exteri...kit-p-859.html We snapped the bracket and plate into each other where they are supposed to go, but we cant remove them. We were hoping that since we cant unsnap them that they were supposed to be snapped before putting it in. Anyway, if anyone has bought this product or knows how its supposed to be installed, any help would be greatly appreciated. The product came with no instructions or anything, and we just cant figure it out. Thanks |

I don't know of this is the way to install it but it worked for me. First snap the two pieces together with the open end of the rear bracket at the top. Then I pushed it through from the front, if you haven't put your emblem on the bracket first you should be able to bend it enough to get it in. Then make sure the groove in the back bracket snaps around the back side of the opening in the grill. Now all I need is my 1LT emblem.
