Would you add hid's to the ls or lt1?
Hey guys. I'm not sure that I can afford the rs package addition. What's your thoughts on adding them to the ls or lt1?

cant be done, cheaply. the headlights alone together are over 1000 by themselves from what i have read on the forum. if you want them you just have to get the RS package on the 1LT (RS is not available on the LS).

If you're not sure, go with the lesser of the two. It's never smart to cut it close financially.

Spring for the RS and go for the manual trans. You won't regret it!

from a post another forum thread about the cost (estimated) needed to put in the HID/HALO lights in a NON RS car. just the cost of the lights themselves would be MORE than the cost of the RS package alone. plus with the RS you get: the darker taillights (bezel behind the red lens is black instead of chrome) body color roof ditch molding (the thin strips that run down the outer edges of the inner roof panel the 20" wheels and tires and the SS style rear lip spoiler.

do your homework, which is what you are doing now, and IF you really what HID's, smart money is to get a 1LT with the RS pkg.......its a no brainer.
