On star
Just wondering, how many of you guys and gals have on star? I have a 2011 SS and would like to use the Bluetooth for my I phone, but I don’t want on star. Do I have to buy the whole package? , and is it worth it. Please enlighten me with your wisdom. Thank you for any advise, information. Great forum.

In my opinion, it depends. Quite honestly, On Star compresses the music and I can hear it. As far as Bluetooth, at least in the 2011 model, it sucks!!! Horrible sound vs plugging in your Iphone via the USB cord. Plugging it in and using my Apple music, the sound is MUCH better than Bluetooth or OnStar.

I dumped the ON Star after the initial offering. I use the bluetooth and the USB plug in. Sounds ok to me, but with the top down, does it really matter? LOL

It's a good system. Not great, but good. Fairly powerful. And yes, even with the top down, I can still tell the quality difference between something like OnStar vs my Apple Iphone via the USB cord. Much better with Iphone.
