HIGH oil pressure

my LFX cold startup oil pressure is maxed out at 250 Kpa or 75 psi.
is this odd and /or indication my gauge or sensor is broken?

it has 67,500 km on it in canadain climate summer temps of about 23 C

I had a very similar issue with that 1 time after an oil change, i went back to AC Delco oil and filter, i even replaced the oil pickup tube and ring.
After that, it stopped, never again will i ever use anything other than AC Delco.

isnt that a big job requiring unhooking motor mounts lifting engine a little to get oil pan off?
do you figure it was all filter cuz the typical gm/LS engine oil pickup tube o-ring problems was because of LOW oil presure, nNOT maxxed out oil pressure.[it was sucking air past crocked/shrunk o ring]

It was just over 500 to do my oil pickup tube and ring, but that was 4 years ago.
But the price is irrelevant compared to replacing your engine
