What brand headers did you get and did you go short or long? Aftermarket exhaust? Just wondering what difficulties might occur and how it will sound after installed? Thinking of going this route. Like to know how it goes?

This is one of the easiest cars to put headers on. You just need 4 tall jack stands. I did LT's on mine by myself with the jackstands set at about 22" tall. A helper would have been nice. But all I did since I was by myself was used boxes. I stacked up boxes below the OE cats/manifolds. Unbolted them from the heads. Then dove underneath, kicked the boxes out and lowered it out.

Put the headers up the same way. Set them up in there on boxes, then went up top and bolted them to the heads.

I took the spark plugs out. If your by yourself can be pretty easy to knock into a plug and break it, so I just took mine out.

Couple other tips.

Pay attention to where the dip stick tube goes before you put the headers on. Get your line of sight figured out of exactly where it sticks in while the headers are off. Because once they are on, it can be tricky to see that spot again. But if you know exactly where to look with a light shining down through the ABS brake lines, and which header pipe to look under, you will just barely be able to see the hole and slip it in there.

Drivers side. Pop the steering shaft off. Very easy, just one pinch bolt, and then it pushes up and lays up out of the way. The trick to getting it back on is to put a screw in the crack to spread it back open. That bugger fought me for a bit until I had an idea to put a small screw in the split line to open it back up a bit before sliding it back on.

The funniest part of the whole job, aside from the fire up rumble, is the dipstick tube bolt. A big ass bolt holding on this little dip stick tube. I guess they don't want that thing falling off.
