#46855 is home!!
Got the call this afternoon the car was in. I didn't get there until late, I ran to my credit union and got pre-approved and then to Carmax for an apprasial. These helped tremendously in the negotiations. The FI guy initially offered me a rate of 6.98% for 72 and they wanted $1000 less for my trade then carmax. I showed them my pre-approval and my carmax appraisal and they matched the carmax and actually bested my credit union rate of 4.99% with a 4.69% for 72. All in all if felt like a pretty good deal. I know...
but it was getting dark. When I get her all detailed up and zainoed then I'll post some of her. I still have all the wrappings inside and out on the car. Salesman left all the delivery paperwork, stickers, build sheets etc in the car. I'll kinda miss my mazdaspeed but only for a short while. This car ROCKS!!![]() ![]()

Ah, it's been a good day for many. I just brought my CGM home today as well. Haggled with the dealer for 4.19%. Which wasn't as good as the 4.1% that I had going in, but got 3 oil changes and a tank of gas out of it.

And the thing that pissed me off because there is no $$ involved... was to save all of the paperwork, etc... "No we don't, we won't save the paperwork (build sheets, etc)! WTF? For $38,000+ and they won't take the time or effort to throw the build sheets in a plastic lawn / leaf bag? When the local temps are -40*, and there's 4' of snow on the ground, they (the dealer and his salespeople ) can all huddle up in this thing and eat shit! |
