valve cover vents

well, before you jump in your tesla and call me a polluter. changed my valve covers to the summit ones with the coil stands. got those installed. had an oil leak,hoping it wasn't a rear main to contaminate my clutch. spray down with brake clean and found the culprit my dip stick tube out of hole with some tweeking got it seated. no more leaks! but, still oil consumption. checked my separators dirty side 2 oz in measure cup. by the way high spirit driving with spirited decell. took a lesson for you blower guys aluminum oil fill cap, tapped for a 3/8 barb and mounted one of those specter cone filters on cap, then I said what the heck mount one at the back driver side. 2inch 3/8 hose a gates 3/8 plastic 90 another filter and waalaa. no more oil consumption, no smell nothing. oh but the atmosphere, excuse me. the oldman

I got one of these for free:

Not supposed to be used in that manner, but it serves the purpose. It's a breather
catch, supposed to be tubed to the intake after the MAF somewhere. I was going
to put a fitting on the air-box, TOP, where the SAI pump would go, but, this works,
the filer has been dry for over 1300 miles now. Just put it on to relive crank case
pressure at higher RPMs, and it's worked.
