Seat belt destroying your Recaros?
Unfortunately, the seat belt protectors aren't available anymore as Emma and I are no longer married.

I dont have the recaros because 1) they weren't available in '13, and 2) I simply do not fit. That being said, great idea by your wife. That beats the hell out of getting your covers replaced a few times until GM comes up with a solution.

haha! I told her I was going to post this and to expect some commissions. She is absolutely willing to take requests, I don't want to break any forum rules so send me a PM with the request. Since it's paracord, you have some color options too, so let me know!

Yesterday was the first day I have ever used those straps for that exact reason. I'm afraid of the strap getting messed up looking like crap. I was going to buy a set of those seat belt pads because of it not being comfortable on my neck. Your wife's idea is great, I actually would consider possibly buying a pair. Make sure you take her out to dinner for her good work.

You will be the first one to get a set! We're waiting on more paracord so she can make more. Be sure to spread the word and let us know if there are any improvements that can be made!

My fix
Here is my fix for the seatbelt cutting into the strap. I routed the seatbelt thru my Recaro seats!!

I actually tried that myself... wasn't quite as comfortable as the loop on the outside though. The seatbelt cut into my neck, and some people warned that moving it like that could be cause for someone getting out of paying if you were ever in an accident

She's not so fond of sewing... she's no seamstress, but she is a genius with crochet - she invents her own patterns all the time. She makes wallets/purses (my favorite is one that looks like a fox) she does winter hats/hoods and all kinds of little stuffed creatures on request and other random stuff.
While I sit in front of the Xbox playing Destiny or whatever she's curled up with crochet hooks!
