Smoke From engine compartment

After going for a ride in my 2010 2SS LS3 6Speed Man. Camaro, Smoke was coming from the passenger side underneath the engine. Checking fluid levels, and under the car revealed nothing. Being Sunday I could not contact the dealer. Anybody else have this problem and fixes? Also there's Only about 300 miles on the odometer. Thanks in advance to all!!!

I had the same problem in my Sky and found a plastic bag stuck to the exhaust where is exits under the car from the engine compartment. What did the smoke smell like, that should clue you in to what it may be...

not sure what it could be. Was it alot of smoke, or just a bit? I think some have reported oil drops on hot engine parts burning which could be it but im not sure. I dont think burnin a clutch puts out smoke either.
Hope its nothing serious but your best bet is to bring in to the dealer tommorow which im sure you already planned to. Good Luck....LS3 is a beast!

Have you done any work on it lately? Oil change? Engine or exhaust mod? I was just thinking something might have been left loose and fluid leaked out.

Color of the smoke would help as well.

You may want to check your trans oil cooler. Mine had some issues. Found it from smoke coming out under the hood.

I had originally thought I had burned the clutch. I found out otherwise.

When I took a Camaro 2SS A6 for a test drive, when I got back, I could smell something burning a bit. I figured it was just some paint on or near the motor or exhaust getting a bit toasted from the first heat of a new car. I assumed it was normal in a brand new car.

Without there being an engine light I doubt it's anything too bad but it can still be a whole lot of things. Just need to check things out more and do some investigating. Could be something super simple and free to fix.

Smoke from under hood

I had the same thing happen,it went away after the 2nd time i drove the car. I think it some kind of lubricant or oil used during assembly of the vehicle.
