How to test if cam timing is off?
I was wondering if there is a "simple" way to tell if a cam is off by a tooth or two without pulling off the timing cover.
I don't think I put the cam in misaligned but I would like to be able to double check. |

Short of degreeing, i dont know if you could tell a tooth or two.
Besides taking the timing cover off and taking the oil pump off to see the timing mark on the crank gear. I dont think you want to take the oil pump off again! |

No you can't inspect a part without inspecting the part.
