Wiring ambient lighting to 1ss?
Hi all,
Just put in new 2ss door panels to my 1ss. Plugged them in but they don’t switch on. Does the dealer need to program them to work? Can I tap other wires instead? Thanks! |

They should come on once parking or headlights are on along with the rings around the speedo and tach if that helps. Maybe they are controlled by BCM.

I would check the driver side fuse panel and make sure all the BCM fuses are present and working. I shorted out my trunk light by accident changing the bulb and figured I blew a fuse. Turned out the BCM just had to reset by pulling the fuse and reinstalling it.
