I slightly scuffed the factory splitter. The protection film took most of the brunt, so after some touch-up paint & replacing the film, it's only noticeable by running a finger along the center area of splitter.
This got me thinking about purchasing a spare splitter, since it's a fragile piece & in case something more serious were to happen. *knocks on wood* The lowest price found online was $400, which seems excessive. I wonder if GM parts are more expensive with the 5th generation being discontinued or if a part such as the splitter has always cost that much? Last edited by PDXSSCE; 06-03-2018 at 03:33 AM. |

I don't know, I been trying to buy a white splitter and the cost is ridiculous everywhere that I've looked.
I'd be interested in knowing why the damn pieces cost so much also, I think the ground effects package goes for like $2500.00, insane. |

A Corvette C7 Z06 splitter is made very similarly and is about 125 bucks direct from GM. No reason for the Camaro one to be as expensive as it is.
