What did you have to give up?

Wow, I helped build my IROC-Z at the Norwood GM Plant and I started it up on the assembly line for the first time. I swore I'd never sell it, but 24 years and 29000 miles later..I just parted with her for $16,500. :( I've had 12 other Camaros, but always held onto the IROC. I drove my first 2SS last weekend for 2 days and I was so impressed. Hopefully this knot in my stomach will go away when I have the rest of the money to pay cash for the SS. I've sold the IROC, the Yamaha WR250 and still trying to sell the R6. I'm 44 years old and have had a Camaro since I was 15. This will be the first time in my life since then, I will be Camaroless for a few months. Hopefully the sacrifice will pay off, with another long term relationship with the new Camaro.

Sweet ride.

You know, the Camaros we have known and loved never really leave us. I still have dreams about my '72 Z/28, at least I know she went to a good home.

Very, very nice post! Hope it went to a good home,...and that they understand the heritage and history!
You will not be disappointed by the new Camaro...it brings the past and the present.... perfectly together!

I traded my 2006 350z Touring 6m. It was a lot of fun that's for sure!

I have sold my 2007 Mustang Roush 427R a few days ago.
Now I am into waiting (a.k.a saving). No credits what so ever to worry about.
And ordering a IOM 2SS in February, hoping to get it for May/June.

This will be a long wait. And driving around in my 1996 Subaru Legacy GT just isn't cutting it, but it's all gonna be worth it in the long run.

I sold my 2007 Toyota Tundra Crewmax with a whopping 7500 miles on it about a month before I got my Camaro. It was a great truck but I love my Camaro!
