i have beeen tring for days and can not figure it out

Your welcome. It's really not too hard to do. You need to either add your photos to your album and use that link for your posts or, like me, get a "Photobucket" account and upload them there. Then you can add them to any post plus you have a safe place to store them off your hard drive. I lost a few really good photos when my drive crashed a couple of years ago so now, I put everything (photos and video) on bucket.
