Help!! Factory Body Kit Question

Has anyone put a splitter on a factory body kit and if so did you remove front lip or add to existing kit. Pics if you got them. Thanks in advance

I have a 2010 SS with the factory GFX ground effects. I hit something on the highway a year ago and destroyed my front splitter. I replaced it with an SLP style splitter, as finding an OEM GFX splitter is near impossible (discontinued), and even harder to find the hardware for it.

If you already have it, I would recommend keeping it on or at least keeping it and all the hardware for it. If you remove it, you will have holes in your front bumper cover.

I couldn’t find a good factory front GFX for my old 5th gen so I went with RPI Designs “ZL1 Style” Splitter basically a more aggressive version of the SLP splitter

That looks awesome. First one I have seen painted body color. I painted mine gloss black.

You have fine taste! I think I would have had a hard time getting rid of it. That dove tail is exactly what I’m gonna run on mine. It seems like they are still available I guess I better jump on it before it’s too late.

Thanks! Yeah, I did have a hard time and I actually wish I kept it even though the 6th gen is super nice. I feel like the dovetail spoiler is perfect match with the Factory ground effects.
