Crunch! > new front end
Yeah, bonehead move. I looked over at the Lamborghini that had pulled up beside me just as the suburban in front hammered his brakes. Luckily, I guess, his bumper came over mine so no frame damage but we hit hard enough to fire the air bag. Hood, fenders, grill, etc. The insurance settlement will cover the original damage estimate with room to spare.
So now's the time to get creative. The car was pretty much stock so far with only a 1st to 4th lockout bypass as the only mod. Body shop guy mentioned Hurst front end conversions, another guy says "Blower", but I really liked my car the way it was. I don't really want to mess with the engine and, out of all the grills I saw, I kinda like the original. So boring! Some Googling found a look I might try though. A 2011 1LE concept car. The eventual 1LE didn't have the hash marks so it is a bit unique. Maybe some colored halos and other lighting too. What do y'all think? |
