Tuning

Who do you guys recommend for tuning ? Here’s my mod list

Speed engineering Catless longtube headers
Cold air inductions cold air intake
Texas speed stage 2 camshaft
VVT/DOD delete

Currently tuned by five bar Motorsports in fort Myers Florida but I think I can find someone better.

Future plans for the car are
GPI SS4 Cam
4000 stall converter
Nitrous
Rear end gearing
E85

If you are going to use a GPI cam then their is no better tuner than Ryan at GPI. He remote tuned mine with HP Tuners.

I remember when I was talking to DynoSteve about my cam swap and newest tune. He told me he would be doing me a disservice to recommend anyone but GPI/Ryan to tune my car if I was using a GPI cam.

If I lived closer to GPI I would use Ryan in a heartbeat. But after my next phase of the build I may have no choice. Road Trip!!

Pat G has a really good reputation for remote tuning. I have an AGP TT kit and it was no issue for him to tune it, was really easy to work with.

Yah, I have heard nothing but good things about his tunes. I was looking into him before I decided to go with GPI, as he also does custom cam specing.

For a remote tune for a stock 5th gen 2ss l99 and I don't have the tuner would it make sense to buy the tuner from someone like Dyno Steve with a tune included? That way no back and forth. Or does the turner need to see how the current tune is set up first before he/she remote tunes?

I live fairly close to you. I see you already made your pick but I drove to the other coast to Redline Motorsports. I personally wouldnt let anybody near here tune my car

New to the team but I was told to check out MStuning although that is in Houston. Kevin from AGP told me to take it there and that he is one of the best in the country.

Mine was tuned but that was in Phoenix with a lot of elevation. We know it will get more here in Texas and I plan on making the road trip sometime soon.
