Garage door openers
I just had my 21 year old Genie screw drive opener replaced with a new LiftMaster belt drive...... I'm just in awe at how quiet these new openers are. I've never in my life heard an opener near silent. They've come a long way since the big honkers that sounded like they were grinding sheet metal lol. My experience with most garage door openers is that they vibrate the whole house lol

I know what you mean. Long gone are the days of the garage door opener waking up everyone in the house. I went with the 8500 series jack-shaft opener. Super quiet and you mostly only hear the door on the rollers and the lock locking/unlocking.
