Another footwell lighting question for 2012 SS

I know there are a bunch of threads about it. I have looked. But none answer my questions. I ordered the kit from Phastek . Came with everything I need. They also have a video on the install. In it they say to run wires to passenger side and tap into grey wire there. Only problem is, there Camaro is an earlier model then mine and my wiring harness does not look like their's. So here are my questions for those that have a 2012.

1-with mine being a 2012 is my grey wire in the harness in the photo?
2-if so, will it still dim and also be controlled by the dome light?
3-Or do I have to go to the harness above the gas pedal for the dimming feature?

Here is their video with my photos

I don’t have a ‘12 Pete but, I’m quite positive the wire you need is in the harness you pictured.

You mean as far as when it shuts off?

Should be fine. Dims out on mine with the rest of the interior lights.
